DUMAGUETE/NEGROS ORIENTAL PACKAGES

Apo Island, Dumaguete Negros Oriental

Discover and experience Dumaguete, dubbed the "City of Gentle People" --a fitting compliment to the unhurried lifestyle of Dumagueteños.

First stop is the Silliman University, where we take you on a walking tour of the campus dotted with century-old acacias.  Next is a visit to the Hikaban Cooperative and Claytown Pottery where you can observe how locals weave piña cloth and craft earthenwares.  A rolling tour of the city's landmarks follows, including the Ninoy Aquino Freedom Park, the new Convention Center,  the bustling Public Market, and the historical Sta. Catalina de Alexandria  Church & Bellfry.

A quick trip down south of Dumaguete takes you to Negros Oriental Arts and Heritage (NOAH) which houses the stone-craft factory & showroom in Bacong , and the century-old San Agustin Church.  OR you can head up to Forest Camp in Valencia, for a quick tour of this lush camp set amidst a forest setting, with a hanging bridge, natural and man-made pools and lagoons, and low waterfalls.

Lastly, you will pass through Rizal Boulevard, the tourist belt, and visit some souvenir shops.  A delectable lunch awaits you at the Lab-as Seafoods, a popular restaurant by the sea, which offers live fresh crabs, oysters, and other native specialties.
